Young singer, Disciple of Suswara Sukhalaya Smt Raji Gopalakrishnan.  At the tender age of five, Vaaraki began her Carnatic classical vocal, as well as Bharathanatyam lessons. She has also completed her Bharathanatyam Arangetram in 2004, along with which she learns Mridangam as well as Violin. Vaaraki received the opportunity to perform for prestigious organisations in India as well as abroad. She received the Best Performer Award-2009, from the eminent Dr Balamuralikrishna.She says there is a lot of time in the day to learn the culture she was born into and its music. She says it would otherwise be spent watching television, chatting on the phone or just hanging out at the mall. She notes that classical arts have taught her discipline, the ability to sit cross-legged on the floor for hours and to concentrate and listen. Vaaraki is a topper in her studies too and has won many awards and accolades.
