Classical

A performing carnatic musician, has been learning from gurus like Palghat K.V Narayanaswamy and Padma Bhushan P.S Narayanaswamy and given concerts all over India in prestigious sabhas.

Chosen by the Tamil Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram in 2005 and given concerts to perform all over Tamilnadu and also holded the CCRT scholarship for classical music by govt of india.

Has also given his voice in certain classical albums and dance albums done by leading classical musicians.
Is a part of a band “FUTURE TENSE” which recently launched an album with CARNATICA and AIRTEL called “World Peace” showcasing different forms of music.

Films

Debut in tamil films came with the film “KADHAL” produced by Shankar and directed by balaji sakthivel and music by Joshua shridhar in which he sang three songs unnakena irupaen, thotu thotu yennai and the theme for the movie.

Following that he has sung a lot of songs for leading music directors in tamil and in other south Indian languages too. Has performed in numerous gigs and in concerts here in India and abroad.

Debut song “unnakena irupaen” was nominated for Best song for the national awards in 2006.

Recipient of the VIRTUOSA award for best male-newcomer in 2005 and several awards for the song in the movie “kadhal”.

Recipient of the “LG SANGAM” award for best playback singer in telugu for the song janma nee dele in “premisthe”(kadhal dubbed in telugu) in 2006.

Received the “best playback singer” award from AIR recently for the song in kadhal.
