Saindhavi is one of the upcoming artists in the field of CARNATIC MUSIC (Indian classical music-south Indian style) as well as FILM MUSIC today.

She has been performing from the age of 12.

Today she is the youngest singer who excels in both, classical and light forms.

From a very early age she discovered her passion for music and had her tutelage from Mrs. Subbalakshmi Muthuswamy (founder of Lakshmy Narayana School of Music, Royapettah, Chennai).

She then continued her musical learning from Ms. S.V. Usha of Suprabhatha Sabha.

She also had the privilege of learning from great legends like Smt. D.K. Pattammal, Padmashri P.S. Narayanaswamy, Mrs. Saraswathy Ram and Swamimalai Janaki Raman.

Presently, she is honing her skills from celebrities like:
1. Mr. K.N. Shashikiran of Carnatica.com,
2. Mrs. Padma Chandilyan and Srimushnam Raja Rao.

Her first concert was at the age of twelve in a temple after which she has performed in various temples, marriage functions and a few sabhas such as Bharat Kalachar and Kumararaja Muthaiah Muthamizh Mandram.

She is the recipient of the prestigious National CCRT Scholarship for Carnatic vocal from the Indian Government.

She has won the appreciation from many connoisseurs and critics. She has received several prizes in various competitions conducted by organizations like the Music Academy, Indian Fine arts, Hamsadhwani, Thyaga Bramha Sabha and Suprabhatha Sabha.

She is the recipient of the following titles:

2. Isai Chudar (Avvai Natarajan on behalf of Aram awards 2006
3. Young Achiever Award 2005 from Stansfield School of Business – Singapore.

b) The highlights are ‘Abhirami Andhadhi’ sung in 102 ragas, ‘Ponmazhai’, ‘Ponmanagarathinile’, ‘Sacred Chants’, ‘Divine chants’, ‘Sri Krishna’, ‘Sri Ganesha, Sai Baba etc.

c) The latest is SRIMANNARAYANA which consists of 5 volumes of the great legendary Musician Smt. M.S. SUBBULAKSHMI reproduced.
