Burma Songs Review

Produced by Sudharshan Vembutty's Square Stone films, Burma is a crime thriller starring Michael Thangadurai and directed by Dharanidharan.

Vaddi( Dinesh Aaryan Kanagarathnam, MC Akram , MC Rude,Lyrics: Dinesh Aaryan Kanagarathnam)

A street hip-hop with lots of warps and garage music bass lines. Magudi fame Aryan renders, doubling up with interesting lyrics as well. This electronic track will rule the pubs and all the intoxicated drivers ! The rap portion and the second BGM sounds original.

En Moochum Vena( Ranjith KG,Lyrics: Kabilan)

A breezy romantic song keeping R n B as the premise. Repetitive loops become a strain to listen, but the pallavi is strong. Interludes could have been little more explorative. Acoustic touch towards the end is appreciative.

Run For Money Dude(Sudharshan M Kumar, Velmurugan,Lyrics: S.A)

Auto tuned track made to support the comical lyrics. Good complimentary visuals can lift this number which belongs to the bucket of songs that have the first few seconds really nice.

Seizing Mania (Instrumental)( )

An instrumental, high on sounds and effects. Designed to beat around the same tune and not to take off. Sounding needs a special mention.

Jungle In The City( MC Rude , Ranina Reddy,Lyrics: S.A.)

Hard rock and desi singing is dealt here. Nothing much to offer but simple and tact.!

Kalavu Pona Nilavu( Karthik,Lyrics: Kabilan)

A nice attempt on the melody. Cello comes as a relief. The non lexical fillings towards the end of the song are fresh.

Counting D' Cars( Anisha Lakshmanan, Jeba Niyaz, Remya Nambeesan, Sudharshan M Kumar, Suresh Peters)

A party number with thumping arrangements. Progression of the song gets edgy more than it probably should.
