Jeeva Songs Review

Jeeva, starring Vishnu Vishal and Sridivya in the lead, is an upcoming film based on cricket . The music for this Suseethiran directorial is taken care by D.Imman

Ovvondrai Thirudugirai(Bhavya Pandit, Karthik,Lyrics: Vairamuthu)

Starts off with a short lyrical note and Imman bolsters it with fantastic concoction of sounds through and through. Immanís arrangement is phenomenal here, especially the violin-backed interlude from 2.46 to 3.10 is absolutely captivating. Bhavya Panditís pleasant voice seems perfect for the song with nifty touches from Karthik and Imman. Our PICK!

Oru Rosa(A.V.Pooja, Anthonydasan,Lyrics: Madhan Karky)

Anthony Daasan is a talent powerhouse. His overwhelming folk voice is treated nice here. The obvious slacking by the bass-guitarist, trumpet sessions, gypsy type playing of the acoustic guitars and the sudden congo all work out just fine.

Oruthi Melle(Abhay Jodhpurkar, El Fe Choir,Lyrics: Madhan Karky)

Abhay makes a comeback after his fantastic Adiyae Enna Raagam and he has nailed it here. A simplistic, catchy tune with El Fe Choirís lovely chorus portions!

Sangi Mangi( Malavika, Nivas, Tha Mystro,Lyrics: Kabilan Vairamuthu)

A track that has lots to offer, from folk to rock to everything, but better opening lyrics would've made the song even catchier. Perhaps a change in the rhythm programming would also have helped.

Yenge Ponai(S.P.Balasubramaniam, Lyrics: Madhan Karky)

With its mind-blowing overture, SPBís soulful rendition, Madhan Karkyís absorbing lyrics and Immanís lilting tune, Engae Ponaai is a moving pathos and the kind of song that lingers even after you finish listening. Our PICK!

Netru Naan(Sathyaprakash, Lyrics: Madhan Karky)

A very nice bit song. The flamboyant guitarist gives the soul to it. Alas, this one is short !
