This robo rocks Endhiran Audio review

The buzz on every lip today is songs from Rajnikanth starrer Endhiran. Ever since the music was launched in Malayasia in a gala affair, expectations rose high and fans of Rajnikanth and A R Rahman have gone gaga over the audio.

Bringing together the best of bests in the form of Shankar, Rajnikanth, rahman and Aishwarya Rai, the album hgas seven songs which are typical of Rahman and entertaining from the word go. Vairamuthu, Madhan Karki and Pa Vijay's lyrics add value to the music.

Check out how the songs are

Puthiya Manitha (S P Balasubramaniam, Rahman and Katheeja)
A neat song which begins with gusto. The song flows from high to low pitch freely. S P Balasubramaniyam's voice works out the magic while A R Rahman's voice is cool and Katheeja chips in with her best.
It's a song that celebrates a new birth.

Kadhal Anukkal (Vijay Prakash and Shreya Ghoshal)

A romantic numbers in Western tune and beat.A scientifically sweet number the lyrics speak of physics and chemistry. Vijay Prakash and Shreya Ghoshal sing with enthusiasm. A sweet song indeed.

Chitti Dance Showcase (Yogi B, Praveen Mani and Pradeep Vijay)

Perhaps the pick of the album. The pattern is different from routine numbers. It is energetic and filled with gusto. Rendered by Yogi B, Praveen Mani and Pradeep Vijay, it has both melody and beat. Awesome number by Rahman, who passion for peppy beats scintillates listeners.

Irumbile Oru Idhayam ( Rahman kash N Krishy)

A groovy number that begins with all style. The lyrics begins in English and settles down to a melody wityh Rahman himself crooning., But Kash N Krishy gives it a Western feel singing it with aplomb. More of Western rap set in Indian accompaniment, the song is one special here

Arima Arima (Hariharan, Sadhana Sargam)

Rahman's mastery in Classical music comes evident here as the song begins based on carnatic raaga. Soon trumpets and beats takes over and Rahman makes it sound the best. Its cakewalk for Hari singing such numbers, while Sadha sounds as cool as cucumber. It's musically best.

Kilimanjaro (Javed Ali and Chinmayi)

It is a open-throated song. A peppy number with some simple lyrics sing well by Javed Ali and Chinmayi is awesome and amazing with her voice. The rhythm pattern of Rahman is outstanding.

Boom Boom Robot Da (Keerthi Sagathiya, Swetha Mohan and Thanvisha)

Penned by Kargi, the song has references of Isaac Asimov, Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein. The vocals aided by additional vocal by Yogi B gives it all grace. The piano in between is intere4sting and lends grace and charm to the song

On the whole, hats off Rahman for giving us an entertaining album.
