Aridhu Aridhu audio launch creates flutter
A fiery speech by Thangar Bachan gave raise to many an eyebrow at the music launch of the movie 'Aridhu Aridhu' in Chennai on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, the cinematographer-producer-director said that the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) has not done anything to benefit the producers,

Wondering aloud whether the council existed or not, he said that film producers were in financial dire straits and were reeling under hardship, but the TFPC was not helping them.

Reacting to this, TFPC secretary Sivasakthi Pandian urged Thangar to exercise caution while speaking in public platforms. "He has never visited the council office and was not part of any activities taken by the association for the welfare of producers. On many occasions, we have redressed the grievances of producers," Pandian said.

Directors Shankar, Lingusamy and Madhesh, council president Rama Narayanan, FEFSI president V C Guhanathan and music director Thaman were present on the occasion.

The movie stars Harish, Uthara and is directed by K R Mathivanan. Produced by J Jayakrishna, it has music by Thaman.
