Kamal launches 'Mynaa' music

The audio of ‘Mynaa’ was launched by Kamal Hassan at a function attended by big guns of Kollywood at a multiplex in Chennai on Thursday.

Prabhu Solomon, who directed films ‘Kokki, Lee’ and ‘Laadam’, has directed this movie, which is a love story between a young man and woman who live in a tribal village near Theni and the problems they encounter.

The film stars new comers Vidharth of ‘Koothu Pattarai’ and Anaka of ‘Sindhu Samaveli’ fame in the lead roles. Music is by D Imman. Yugabharathi has written the lyrics. Produced by Shalom Studios, the movie will be released by Udhayanidhi Stalin and Kalpathi S Aghoram.

In his address, Kamal said: "I liked Mynaa. It is a beautiful film made by Prabhu Solomon after painstaking efforts. Almost all the actors are freshers. But their performance is similar to that of veterans."

Speaking on the occasion, Bala said that those with brains need not depend on the God, while director of 'Mynaa' Prabhu Solomon said he is a great believer of the Almighty.

Most of the guests who had attended the function watched ‘Mynaa’ at a special screening earlier in the day. They lauded Solomon and music composer D Imman for brining out a quality product.

Others who spoke include Tamil Film Producers Council president Ramanarayanan, Udhayanidhi Stalin, actors Karthik, Shaam, Karan and Sibiraj, director Suseendhiran, producers Srinivasan and Muralidharan.
