Karunanidhi shows his love for Sarath
Chief Minister M Karunanidh came out with an emotional speech at the music launch of Sarathkumar starrer Jaggubhai in Chennai on Sunday.

"Politicians too have a soul and it has love and affection, That is why I could shower love and affection on Sarath Kumar, though he had quit the DMK and launched his own party All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi," he said.

"Even though we have been separated for some time. I don’t know what the future holds -- he has been reciprocating the love and respect I have for him in keeping with Tamil tradition," the DMK president said.

Karunanidhi said he would henceforth concentrate on what he did for the Tamil language, the people of the State and the people of the continent and what he should do more for them.

"I will no longer join issue with his political opponents and my party colleagues will take up the job and issue statements clarifying the government position. This came to my thought at the valedictory function of the centenary celebrations of Annadurai in Kancheepuram. I am very firm that I will not hurt anyone, any longer," the senior politician said.

Two songs from the film were screened for the special dignitaries.Music for Jaggubhai is by Rafee, a Singapore-based musician and a former associate of A R Rahman.

K S Ravikumar, the director of the film, said, "Jaggubhai’s story is the same as the one I had earlier announced with Rajinikanth. It is for the 10th time our hit combination (KSR-Sarath) is coming together."

Producer of the movie Radhika Sarathkumar, A R Rahman, Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan, director K Bhagyaraj R Parthiban and others took part.
