'Neeyum Naanum' audio launched
The audio launch function of 'Neeyum Naanum', a film directed by S V Solai Raja, in Chennai on Wednesday night, raised many an eyebrow thanks to a speech by Nadigar Sangam general secretary Radha Ravi.

In his address, the South Indian Film Artistes Association general secretary urged producers to boycott actors who demand huge remuneration.

"Producers have to be blamed for huge production costs of films. They run behind actors and give huge salaries to them. Do we need music composers to go compose tunes in abroad?", he said and added, "The producers should resolve not to sign artistes who demand huge salary and boycott them for at least a year. They will run short of offers and would come back to reality."

Others who had attended the event include FEFSI president V C Guhanathan, Kushboo, Pandiarajan, R K Selvamani and Thyagarajan of Sathya Jothi Films
