Venkatadri music - released by Balakrishna!
The audio of Venkatadri, starring Nandamuri Taraka Ratna after a long hiatus, was released at RNR Auditorium, Hyderabad. The film is made on Ramakrishna Cine Studios banner and is directed by V. Samudra. The star gathering included Nandamuri Balakrishna, Daggupati Venkateswara Rao, Purandareshwari, Jayasankara Krishna, Nandamuri Janakiram, Kalyanram, Samudra, Srikanth Deva, Ranganath and others. Balakrishna released the audio cassette and presented the first number to his sister and Union Minister Purandareshwari. The audio CD was unveiled by Purandareshwari, who in turn gave it to Balakrishna. Speaking on this occasion, Balakrishna said: "The part played music in the victory of any film is very vital. After the story and dialogues, this film has that much of importance to music. There is both oomph and entertainment in this film. A hit song of my father NTR was remixed in this film. All the songs are situational. I wish that the film would become a blockbuster and bring big future for Taraka Ratna." Purandareshwari said: "Let me recall the words of Lord Krishna in Bhagavadgita. Those who bring name and fame to his family tree are great. This way, my father NTR, brought international recognition to Telugus. Before my father did the roles of Lord Krishna and Lord Rama, the people used to imagine gods on the lines of the portraits of Ravi Varma. The responsibility of shouldering the legacy and continuing it rests with the family members of NTR. I wish all the best to the entire team of Venkatadri film." Kalyan Ram said: "There are five heroes at present from Nandamuri vamsam. I saw the promos of the film Venkatadri. It reminded me of some of the scenes in blockbusters Narasimha Naidu and Simhadri. I wish all the best."
