The
music launch of Katradhu Kalavu, a film starring
director Vishnuvardhan's younger brother Krishna (of
Alibaba fame) in the lead role, was held in Chennai
on Monday.Produced by Krishna's father 'Pattiyal'
Sekar and Chehak Kapoor for Talking Times Movies,
the film is directed by Balaji Devi Prasad while
Paul J has scored the music. Vijayalakshmi is the
heroine.
A trailor of the movie and three songs were shown
to invitees. First was a travel montage song with
Krishna and Vijaylakshmi, the second was shot at a
circus, featuring Krishna with Mumaith Khan, with
the third being a rap number.
Choreographed by debutant Dev, this is presumably
the title song of the film sung by Singapore singer
Dinesh along with Blaaze.
Speaking on the occasion, Tamil Film Producers
Council (TFPC) president Ramanarayanan made an
appeal to his peers not to talk grievances and other
issues related to the industry on public platforms
like audio launch functions.
He was reacting to a comment made by Film
Distributors Association president Kalaipuli G
Sekaran that the Producers Council should interfere
and regulate the release of a large number of movies
on a single week.
The event was attended by Sivasakthi Pandian, L
Suresh, Hansraj Saxena, Kaja Moideen, TP Agarwal, K
Muralidharan, A L Azhagappan, Kasthuriraja, Kireedom
