TMS at hospital
Legendary singer T M Soundararajan has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after he was diagnosed with some neurological disorder affecting the brain.

The 87-year-old vocalist is a diabetic and was also suffering from memory loss for some time. He complained of uneasiness last night and was taken to the hospital and put under intensive care.

Sources in the hospital say that he was responding well to the treatment. Doctors attending on him would take a call on whether he needs a immediate surgery or it could be managed with medicine.

TMS is a legend in his own life time. In a career spanning over 60 years TMS has sung for almost all the heroes of Tamil films from MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, S S Rajendran, Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan Rajnikanth, Sathyaraj among others. He had also acted in few films including 'Pattinathar'.
