Yuvan works without remuneration
For 'Padhinaru', a film directed by Sabapathi D starring Mirch Shiva in lead role, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed songs without receiving a single rupee as remuneration.

Says the director, who earlier wielded the megaphone for films such as Bharathan, Enga Thambi, Sundarapurushan, VIP and Punnagai Poovae, "Yuvan is a very good friend of mine. Impressed by the script of Padhinaru, he worked without remuneration,"

On the film, he says, "it is a love story which talks about affairs between 16 and 25 years. A lover, who is ready to even sacrifice his life for his girlfriend in this age group, changes his mind after crossing the age. The movie will throw light on this issue."

On his part, Yuvan says, "I finished the album eight months back and I am happy about the outcome. My elder brother Karthik Raja has sung a solo song for me for the first time."
