Yuvan Shankar Raja's special BGM for Hero

The trailer of PS Mithran’s film with Sivakarthikeyan, Hero, was launched amidst much fanfare, with the cast and crew coming together to share interesting details about the movie.

And composer Yuvan Shankar Raja gave us a piece of exciting news – the film will feature an 18-minute score, probably the lengthiest in any Indian film.

At the event, Yuvan said, 'We need a hero. After looking at all these incidents in the society, like what happened to the girl in Hyderabad, we have started feeling that agitation, that need to set right all that’s gone wrong. The film will trigger the same emotion when you watch it. I’ve done many rerecordings, but for the first time, we’ve done this lengthiest piece – 18-minute score. I think it will be the longest score ever. I don’t know if it’s been done before in India, but this is the longest I know of.'

He added, 'I’m so happy to have worked in this film. I feel satisfied, and it’s all thanks to Mithran. Sivakarthikeyan will make a huge mark with this film'.
