Will it be Thalaivi for Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut is all set to play late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in the latter's biopic. The movie will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and will be titled Thalaivi in Tamil and Telugu.

Meanwhile the makers are naming the movie Jaya in Hindi. But now it looks like the actress wants the makers to name the Hindi version also as Thalaivi. She insisted that when the title of Hollywood films remains unchanged in India, the meaning of the word ‘Thalaivi’ will also be understood by people across the country.

Now it looks like the makers will be going ahead with the same title for all the three versions.

The movie is directed by Vijay and bankrolled by Vibri Media. The movie also will have actor Samuthirakani playing a key role in it.

Now the actress is currently learning Tamil and Bharathanatyam for her role in the movie.
