Established in the year 1987 with a team strength of just 10 members, Lakshman Sruthi (LS) have now grown in size and stature with nearly 50 members. We have successfully conducted 6,000 plus shows all over the globe to our credit in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Even in this electronic age, we insist ourselves in maintaining 100% manual orchestration.

36 Hours Non - Stop World Record

The first orchestra to conduct 36 hour non-stop world record light music show on Dec.17th & 18th–1994 at Kamarajar arangam, Chennai, was inaugurated by Padmashree Dr.K.J.Yesudas and felicitated by the Legends like Mellisai Mannar M.S.Viswanathan,T.K.Ramamoorthy, Isaignani Ilayaraja, Sankar Ganesh, Gangai Amaran, Isai puyal A.R.Rehman, T.Rajendran, R.Pandiarajan and Ramarajan witnessed by 24,000 Audience.

Music Legends

We also had the unique distinction of bringing legendary playback singers Dr.K.J.Yesudas and Dr. S.P.Balasubramaniyam on a single dais for the first time in Paris, France and the same combination was promoted all over the world...totaling 14 shows so far!

An exclusive show for women folk held at Chennai on 4th august 1996 at Kamarajar Arangam where entry for Ladies only was appreciated by women folk for giving them an opportunity to perform and enjoy the evening - 4th august 1996 at Kamarajar Arangam.

LS also has several thematic shows to its credit like, Patriotic songs (Organised specially for Kargil Relief Fund), Children special,Lighting Special, Pattikada Pattanama, Natchathira pattu katchery, Kaviarasu Kannadasan Hits, Padmashree vairamuthu Hits, MGR Hits, Sivaji Hits, Rajini Hits, Kamal Hits, K.Balachander Hits, Manirathnam Hits, Mohan Hits, Love Failure Hits, One Man Show without duet (by Dr. S.P.B.). LS also conducted a mobile concert to raise funds for Gujarat Earth quake relief. This also created an awareness of the tragedy in all parts of Chennai.

Event Management

Lakshman Sruthi is also into event management. We have promoted several musical programs with such multinational companies as TVS, Hindustan Levers, Pepsi, Coco-cola, and others. We have also organized several film & TV awards presentation ceremonies besides organizing concert programs for recreation clubs, Government festivals, voluntary organizations and others.
