Harish
Raghavendra hails from a family of renowned
classical musicians. He holds a Bachelors Degree in
Commerce and a Masters Degree in Mass Communication.
He is a software engineer turned playback singer. He
started his career as a film playback singer at the
age of 18. He was introduced in Telugu and Tamil by
Music Directors Raj(Koti) and Vidyasagar
respectively. He got a break with the song 'Nirpadhuvae
Nadappadhuvae' in the film 'Bharathi' and the song 'Ae
Azhagiya Theeyae' from Minnale was a roaring success
back-to-back. The other hits that followed were
from films like Shajahaan, Majnu, Samurai, Paarvai
Ondre Podhumae, Charlie Chaplin, Dheena, Youth,
Tamizh, Ae Nee Romba Azhaga Irukke, Run, April
Maadhathil, Solla Marantha Kadhai, Punnagai Poove,
Lesa Lesa, Kaadhal Kondein, Whistle, Paarai and much
more. Harish Raghavendra has sung in more than 150
films and has more than 30 film songs in the
pipeline, awaiting the release of the films.
His songs like Melliname Melliname from
Shahjahaan, Nirpathuve Nadapathuve from
Bharathi, Devathaiyai Kanden and Thottu
Thottu from Kaadhal Kondein, Sakkarai Nilave
(Youth), Whistle Adikkum Vadana (Whistle),

(Samurai), Hey Azhagiya Theeye (Minnale),
